Following an exceptionally cold winter in the Japanese Alps, our 200 year old villa is emerging from its seasonal stillness to prepare for a next month reopening. As the snow retreats from the stone lanterns and mossy garden paths to reveal Nagano’s signature spring light, returning guests will find a refined interior experience. Drawing on the insights of our first six months, we have introduced new furnishings and thoughtful modifications that seamlessly harmonize historic character with modern comfort.
